What is a Caucus?  Why should I get involved?

In short, the caucus process is the way for you to get involved in the selection of GOP candidates for offices ranging from the Governor to the Legislature to the Treasurer and Secretary.

The first step is the Precinct Caucus, to be held at your neighborhood precinct location.  During the Precinct Caucuses,  you will determine  delegates (people who represent your desires and wishes) to conduct business at the County Assembly.  Precinct Caucuses will be conducted March 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. (promptly and by law).

Precinct Caucus Locations: each precinct has a specific location to meet.   Click 2010 Garco  Caucus Location tab  for the complete location  list.

The next step is the County Assembly, which will be held for Garfield County on Saturday April 3,  2010 from 8:00 a.m. to Noon at Glenwood Springs High School Auditorium, 1521 Grand Ave, Glenwood Springs.

The final step is the State Assembly, to be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Budweiser Event Center, Loveland, Colorado.   Here delegates select our ballot nominees.
