What is a Caucus? Â Why should I get involved? In short, the caucus process is the way for you to get involved in the selection of GOP candidates for offices ranging from the Governor to the Legislature to the Treasurer and Secretary. The first step is the Precinct Caucus, to be held at your neighborhood precinct location. Â During the Precinct Caucus, you will determine delegates (people who represent your desires and wishes) to conduct business at the County Assembly.
